With good abrasion resistance and durability, PVC footballs are appropriate for matches on various grounds, especially indoors, on artificial turf, or hard ground. Additionally, PVC offers waterproof properties, effectively preventing moisture from penetrating the football's interior and extending its lifespan. The PVC surface is typically easier to clean than other materials, requiring only a damp cloth wipe-down, facilitating maintenance and ensuring the football remains clean. PVC can also be processed into different colors, patterns, and designs to meet the needs of different customers.

The laminated PVC composite material generally consists of three types of materials (PVC+ TPE+ interwoven fabric), or directly compounded with foamed PVC substrate. To increase strength, an additional layer of oxford cloth can be added. PVC is usually used for machine stitching.
