PU, as one of the materials used for making the surface layer of volleyball, is typically employed in crafting professional-grade competition volleyballs. It exhibits excellent toughness, high strength, and superior quality, often boasting remarkable durability to withstand frequent usage and friction, thereby ensuring a longer lifespan. With its elasticity and flexibility, PU enables volleyballs to exhibit a certain degree of bounce and control upon impact, facilitating players in directing the ball's trajectory and speed. Being relatively lightweight, PU contributes to easier handling and control of the volleyball during matches, enhancing players' agility and reaction time. Additionally, PU materials possess a certain level of water resistance, allowing volleyballs to maintain optimal performance even in moist conditions without the risk of deformation due to moisture absorption. Moreover, PU-made volleyballs can offer anti-slip and sweat-absorbing properties. Furthermore, PU is particularly suitable for thermally laminated process.

To provide our customers with composite materials for the manufacture of sports balls, we usually laminate PU with other materials. Two layers (PU + TPE) and three layers (PU + TPE + interwoven fabric) are the most common combinations. We also offer various intermediate foam layers and base fabrics for customers to choose from.
