PU (polyurethane) serves as an ideal alternative to natural leather, has numerous advantages that make it suitable for use as the surface material in American footballs. It offers elasticity, excellent tensile strength, and abrasion resistance, durability, ensuring American footballs remain undamaged and maintain good condition even after prolonged use. PU leather is flexible, non-slip, and provides a strong leather-like texture, offering a comfortable touch that helps players in better controlling the ball's movement, resulting in smoother passing, dribbling, and shooting. We typically laminate PU with other materials to provide composite materials to our clients for the production of sports balls. PU ball leather composite materials are generally composed of two layers (PU + TPE) or three layers (PU + TPE + interwoven fabric). We also offer different intermediate layers and base fabrics for customers to choose from.
