The formation principle of melt blown fabric

The formation principle of melt blown fabric is to melt polymers into fine fibers through melt jet technology, then arrange the fibers into a mesh structure through airflow, and finally form the fabric through cooling and solidification.

The main steps are as follows:

1. Melting: Heating polymer materials to a molten state to make them liquid.

2. Spray: The molten liquid is sprayed out through the fine holes of the spray plate, forming a high-speed jet.

3. Stretching: During the spraying process, fibers are stretched and extended through high-speed spraying, resulting in a significant reduction in fiber diameter.

4. Arrangement: During the spraying process, the stretched fibers gradually arrange and interweave with each other due to inertia, forming a mesh structure.

5. Curing: The molten fibers are rapidly cooled and solidified through a cooling device, forming the structure of the fabric. The formation principle of melt blown fabric is based on melt blown technology, which is characterized by a simple production process, high efficiency, low cost, and the ability to flexibly adjust the diameter and density of fibers. It has excellent filtration performance, breathability, and waterproofing, and is widely used in medical, health, filtration and other fields.
